Licensing and Requirements
The Play School only hires teachers who meet or exceed state requirements for Indianapolis child care employment. To ensure the highest quality Indianapolis child care for our families, teachers and support staff must pass criminal background checks and meet the following requirements:
Lead Teachers
- Education degree
- 20+ hours of professional development each year
Support Staff
- 21 years or older to work with toddlers or infants
- 18 years or older to work with preschool and school-age children
- Participation in annually required training
